The Rearward Cross Tire Rotation Demystified
![]()
Tire rotations aren't mysterious. They merely sound like they are: forward cross and X-pattern, for example. These two along with rearward cross, side-to-side and front-to-back are the most common tire rotations. Our factory-trained Earthycars techs serving customers from Burlington and surrounding areas demystify tire rotations for your benefit.
The Rearward Cross
A rearward cross tire rotation calls for moving the rear axle tires directly forward. A full-size spare takes the right rear tire position. The former right front tire takes the left rear tire position.
